The Flavoured Shortbread Bakery currently delivers to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.
Our standard delivery method is by Royal Mail. We have a standard shipping rate and delivery will take 2 - 3 days to arrive after dispatch.
Please allow up to 5 working days for us to dispatch your order.
Our postage cost is weight based on an individual parcel weight of 2 kg maximum (approximately 8 tubes of shortbread). Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout and are based on Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed for service.
As our shortbread rounds are perishable, we do not accept return of goods if you change your mind. There are two exceptions.
1 If we send you the wrong flavour, please contact us as soon as possible via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone and we will rectify at no additional cost to you. We will require the return of the incorrect item and will send a postal package for you to place the item in for return to us. We request that you ensure that all items are returned in the original unopened packaging.
2. If your order is damaged on arrival, please take a photograph (with date and time stamp) and email to us at email@example.com. Once the damage to the item is confirmed we will agree with you a preferred course of action. With Royal Mail we can initiate a claim for the value of the product and send you a replacement, or if you wish, you may claim from Royal Mail yourself. Please note that both The Flavoured Shortbread Bakery and you, customer cannot both make a compensation claim to Royal Mail and in the event that this occurs, Royal Mail will only process the sender's (The Flavoured Shortbread Bakery) claim. The policy also explains what Royal Mail classifies as 'damage' to items that they deliver.
If your order does not arrive at the expected time, contact us via email and we will investigate. In the event that the delay is with Royal Mail, we are obligated to follow their procedure regarding delayed/missing parcels. Royal Mail categorises a parcel as 'lost' if it has not been delivered after 15 working days. If after 15 days, your parcel has still not arrived, we will give you the choice of a refund or send you a replacement order. Unfortunately we cannot send a replacement order sooner as it is possible that your order will be delivered and it has been delayed rather than lost.
You may cancel your order before we dispatch it to you. Order cancellations will only be accepted in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org Please ensure that you place your order number in the subject of your email with the word 'cancellation' next to it For example 'Order no RXXXXX - Cancellation'.
Once your order has been dispatched, unfortunately we will be unable to cancel it.
